Angklung Gubrag
Angklung Gubrag is an angklung instrument used by the Sundanese community in the Bogor region in the offering procession for the rice goddess, Dewi Sri. Unlike angklung buhun, angklung gubrag is made from black bamboo with a size that tends to be larger. It is decorated with young sugar palm leaves, which held philosophical and spiritual value for the Sundanese people of the past.
Angklung Badeng
Angklung Badeng is an angklung instrument used by the Sanding-Malangbong community in Garut in the Badeng art form, a performing art that serves as a "syiar" (means of spreading) the Islamic faith. In the past, angklung badeng was tuned pentatonically and functioned as the rhythm accompanying verses with an Islamic character. In terms of form, angklung badeng always has a cross-bar cover on the top and is decorated with satin cloth of different colors or feathers from jungle fowl.
Angklung Bungko
Angklung Bungko is an instrument used to accompany war dances in the region of the Cirebon sultanate. Angklung Bungko was first created by Ki Buyut Bungko after winning a war around the 14th century. Physically, angklung Bungko is made from wulung bamboo and decorated with woven cloth as well as jasmine flowers, which are believed to hold mystical powers that would accompany warriors on the battlefield.
Angklung Buncis
Angklung Buncis is a type of traditional angklung music performance art that has many variants. It is said that, according to history passed down from generation to generation, the name of the buncis art is linked to one of the lyrics famous among the community, namely "cis bean bean nyengcle..." Based on this, the community calls this art bean bean. This art is characteristic of West Java, especially areas with an agrarian lifestyle (such as Baduy, Cigugur Kuningan, Baros Arjasari). Some angklung buncis consist of three tubes (notes), others consist of four tubes. An angklung consisting of three tubes can produce one note across two octaves.
Angklung Gandalia
Angklung Gandalia is an angklung used in the Gandalia art form from the agrarian village of Tambaknegara, Rawalo District, Banyumas, Central Java. Angklung Gandalia is large in size and generally has 4 sound tubes to play low notes tuned in pentatonic salendro.
Bilah Angklung Toel
Angklung Toel is an instrument created by Yayan Mulayana Udjo in 2008. Angklung toel is played upside-down, sounded by touching it, and produces a harmonious sound. Angklung toel is designed as a single set of equipment that allows a player to play the angklung instrument in a series of notes.
Bilah Angklung Grand
Angklung Grand is an instrument created by Taufik Hidayat Udjo. Angklung Grand is played upside-down just like Angklung Toel, but differs in that while angklung tubes are usually arranged in sequence from smallest to largest, on Angklung Grand the position of the tubes is arranged randomly, and it is played the same way as Angklung Toel.
